There are huge issues today in the world with the counterfeiting of common US Currency and the problem is huge and we have seen our enemies using counterfeited currency as well as trading partners considered our friends.

It has been noted that North Korea and China were both involved in scandals concerning the counterfeiting of Federal Reserve Notes. It has also been alleged that Iran and Hezbollah also were involved in a recent scheme.

As the world moves closer to a Global Currency this is an issue as well. Now we have the Euro, Yen, Dollar and many other currencies and eventually those currencies will merge and there will be fewer and fewer; hopefully someday only one currency. Paper Currency is difficult to control and even more difficult on a Global Basis.

If the counterfeiting problem gets too out of hand the currency valuations could cause chaos, if kept to a minimum then the currency issues are a drop in the over all bucket and not of major concern although must be monitored too. We must maintain scrutiny over our currency flow, electronic transactions and the flow of all money in the future, which is evident in the present period as well. Here is some food for thought;

Someday currency maybe a thing of the past and this also makes sense to prevent the spread of disease and virus, although in taking all money electronic we must be concerned with a virus of a different type; a computer virus launched by hackers of course is what I speak of. Perhaps you might consider all this in 2006.
